The Brentwood Library is known as the 'crown jewel' of our city.  We hope you will become a member and take advantage of all the library's services.

Upon your arrival at the library, sign up for a library card.  Every Brentwood resident or property-owner has free borrowing privileges.  This library card is your key to enjoying all the library has to offer.

Your library card gives you access to more than 140,000 books and other materials, including audiobooks, DVDs, music CDs and reference databases.  A large collection of newspapers and magazines is also available.

The library also offers study rooms for small group sessions, computer rooms where individuals can prepare documents and reports, wireless internet service, and a large meeting facility for local clubs and community events. Our staff of professionals stands ready to assist you with research questions.  We can help at all levels -- students working on school assignments, business people gathering data, or home-mechanics finding repair manuals.

This great new service takes book discussion online! Have trouble remembering what you’ve read before? Create an online bookshelf you can access from any computer. Get book suggestions, see what people with similar likes are reading, and tell everyone what you thought about that book with Next Good Book.
   
 
   

NEW DATABASE

Find all things science with AccessScience. This easy-to-use database gives you access to authoritative articles in all major areas of science and technology. Includes scientist’s biographies, current news, podcasts, videos and definitions. Click here for login info.
